We hope you're planning to join us for our Cinco de Mattito's parties going on at all three locations, but we wanted to make sure you knew about the fun going on at our Frisco location.
Located at 6129 Main Street, the Frisco Cinco de Mayo party starts when a salsa band officially kicks off the fiesta at 5:00 pm, joined by a face painter and master magician Marty Westerman. Marty's known for wowing crowds of all ages with his comedy, sleight of hand magic, and balloon animals, so come for the entertainment but stay for the delicious food! Four dollar margaritas and $3 beer are available 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., along with the award-winning Tex-Mex cuisine all night. Bring your whole family for Cinco de Mattito's fun!
If you're closer to Dallas than Frisco, the other locations will party just as hard on the tastiest day of the year! And don't forget, the Routh St. location is home to the Bob Armstrong Queso-eating contest, where one lucky (and a little crazy) winner will have to eat 2 pounds and 14oz to beat last year's record!
“The Bob Armstrong Queso Eating Contest was a huge hit last year and we set a new attendance record as a result of adding this to the event,” says Partner Jim Lannom.
“Cinco de Mayo is our busiest day of the year and we welcome everyone to our celebration of Mexican heritage, food, music and dance.”
More than 2,000 people attended our Cinco de Mayo parties in 2010, so what're you waiting for? For more information or to sign-up for the Second Annual Bob Armstrong Queso Eating Contest, call Mattito's Uptown at (214) 526-8181, Mattito's Forest Lane at (214) 377-9576.
