A chain of restaurants isn't always the best option for truly authentic Tex-Mex fare. We, at Texas-based Mattitos, pride ourselves on bucking that general trend, offering near-the-border ambiance and recipes that fool all the locals all day long.
With individual entrees and family-style dinners aligned to pique our diners' tastes and fill their bellies, we, at Mattito's, dedicate our lives to generating repeat customers who can't get enough of our Tex-Mex flair. From chunky fajita platters and fist-thick gorditas to chipotle-drizzled filet mignon and a range of quesadillas, our chefs know how to get the utmost flavor on every plate of food we serve. We're even available in the morning: The breakfast tacos are stuffed with eggs, chorizo, beans, cheese and papas fritas; and the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros are piled just as high.
For lunch and dinner, Mattitos menus get much more diverse. We have all the Tex-Mex food your family expects and other dishes they might not. There are dishes that swing more Texan, like several iterations of fajitas or chicken fried steak, and many others siding South of the Border, like enchiladas, tamales, chile relleno, tacos, burritos and a loaded taco salad.
The kids menu loads the kids up with the same kinds of entress, but also includes things like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cheeseburgers and chicken strips for those early eaters planted firmly on the American side of things. But Mattito's, which offers our guests a party room rental and package prices too, wouldn't be authentic without a full-bar for the grownups too.
